Speakers

Since its inception, we have strived to bring the best of the best top knowledge to speak at the ReefStock conference. Having already featured many of the All-Stars of the aquarium speaker circuit (Sprung, Joshi, Kohen, Yauillo & Vargas to name a few), it gets harder each year to invite some pillars of our aquarium world.

Cris Capp

Even as it is right now, Cris Capp’s 900 gallon reef aquarium display at his store Aquatic Art Inc. is one of the most luscious we’ve seen in recent memory. While the top two thirds of the Aquatic Art reef display is mostly SPS corals like Acros, Montis and Stylophora, there’s nice big colonies of other stuff too.

Large chalice corals, big mats of zoanthids, a huge Space Invader Pectinia all make a prominent appearance in this reef aquarium system, and there’s even a nook in the corner of the reef for three large colonies of Euphyllia hammer coral and one large Duncanopsammia. No matter what kind of reef aquarium you’re into, there’s colonies in here for everyone to love and the Aquatic Art reef aquarium display is an inspiration for all reefers who see it.

Shane Danger Coleman

I’m just a regular hobbyist of about 15 years. I’ve done a small amount of work in live coral collection in the past, being underwater and seeing it was never enough to satisfy my huge passion for coral and all things reef.

I started Marine Aquarium Fanatics Australia (MAFA) to bring the reef aquarium hobby forward wherever I can, seeing a tight community of like minded reefers grow and learn from each other is Incredibly rewarding for me.

I see coral propagation as a major focal point in the very near future of this hobby so I hope to share some practical information with everyone so we can all see how rewarding it can be to engage in coral propagation.
